Windows xp wireless validating identity problem

At the very beginning my problem is "validating identity". I the try restart and unplug my modem, still not works. Then I try the recommendation here and uncheck the box Enable IEEE". Then I try the recommendations here to type the actions in "cmd". Are you receiving an endless "Validating Identity" connection status when trying to connect to a wireless network. In a few simple steps you can bypass Windows Validation, and the resulting "Limited or No Connectivity" issue on an encrypted connection.I recently bought a windows 8 laptop which used to access the internet fine for a few weeks but after a couple of updates it has stopped accessing the internet. Now i am getting NO NETWORK ACCESS with the yellow exclamation mark When i tried troubleshooting, i got the response, "Wifi doesn't have a valid IP configuration".In the next window click on the "Authentication" tab, Make sure "Enable IEEE 802.1x...." checkbox is UN-Checked, the rest of this window should be greyed out.If your network is Encrypted go on to step 6 otherwise Click ok and try to connect to your network again.
